Green worker

We are looking for a motivated green worker!

Profile

• You can work in a team but also independently.
• You speak good English OR Dutch OR French.
• You are flexible in hours and want to work a lot.
• You like to work outdoors.
• You are punctual and correct.
• Experience with chainsaws and brushcutters.
• You have a driving licence B.

Job-related competences

• You work in a team of 2 or 3 people.
• Clearing and processing garden waste
• Securing the site and site environment (signage, etc.)
• Preparing land (drainage, digging, etc.)
• Sowing or planting
• Maintaining lawns according to instructions (patterning, cutting height, ...)
• Sowing grass according to the topography of the site
• Monitoring stock, identifying shortages
• Placing orders
• Masonry simple work pieces
• Maintaining green areas (outdoor or indoor) (scarifying, treating or replacing plants, etc.)
• Installing irrigation systems or lighting (pipes, electrical cables, programming automatic systems,etc.)
• Infrastructure work: creating (biological) ponds or water features
• Infrastructure works: laying (garden) paths and driveways
• Execution of infrastructure works: Laying terraces (bankirai wood, natural stones, decorative clinkers,etc.)
• Installing and maintaining furniture in parks and gardens (swings, slides, fencing, etc.)
• Coordinate the activities of a team
• Recording activity follow-up data (location, date, type of intervention, period of attendance, etc.)
• Preventive or corrective basic round
• Implementation of infrastructure works: Construction of ornamental gravel
• Execution of infrastructure works: Building rock edges and decorative elements
• Pruning trees according to growth direction or required shape and removing excess branches
